Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Sigiriya is located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla. Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. The palace and fortress complex is recognized as one of the finest examples of ancient urban planning.

Day 02-Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa

- Visit ancient city - Polonnaruwa.

- Enjoy with wild life safari at Minneriya National Park.

- Come back to Sigiriya.

- Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Polonnaruwa

Poḷonnaruwa is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in North Central Province. Polonnaruwa has a most collection of archaeological and architectural they are, Statue of King Parakramabahu, Palace of King Parakramabahu, Potgul Vehera , Shiva Devale, Thuparama , Vatadage, Nissanka Lata Mandapaya, The Satmahal Prasada, Hatadage and Atadage and many more places.

Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is a reported as the largest known wild Asian Elephant Gathering at one place in the World. During this period herds up to 300 elephants are seen at the 8,890 hectare park within a few square kilometers of the Minneriya Reservoir.

Day 03-Sigiriya to Kandy

- On the way visit cave temple – Dambulla, Nalanda Gedige, Hindu Temple, Herbal Spice Garden.

- Visit Temple of Tooth.

- Evening cultural dance – Kandy.

- Overnight stay in Kandy.

 

Cave Temple Dambulla

Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. It is a Largest Rock Cave Temple built on a 600 feet high rock. Cave temple has a largest lord buddha status.

Nalanda Gedige

Nalanda Gedige is an ancient complete stone temple near Matale, Sri Lanka and its original site was considered as the center of Sri Lanka.

Hindu Temple.

Visiting a Hindu Temple is a revered ritual because it serves as a sacred meeting place for the Hindu community to meet and worship with the objective of revitalizing and sanctifying the body, mind and soul.

Herbal Spice Garden.

Herbal and spice garden is located in the most popular. It is where more others smells of cinnamons, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and many. Herbal garden has a more then 1200 herbal plants.which we use in traditional ayurvedic treatments.

Temple of Tooth Relic

Temple of Tooth Relic it is located in the Kandy. The temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of The Buddha, is possibly the most sacred Buddhist shrine in the world. This temple is the most important place of the Buddhists

Day 04-Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

- Kandy city tour (Temple of Tooth view point, Peradeniya botanical garden, Batik factory).

- On the way – tea planation, tea factory, waterfall.

- Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya

Peradeniya Botanical Garden.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka.

Batik Factory

You can visit the Batik Factory in Kandy city. You can get the experience of Sri Lankan traditional culture. You will get to see the elaborate batik-making process.

Day 05-Nuwara Eliya to Ella

- Morning – World’end.

- Ella city tour.

- Wild life safari at Yala National Park.

- Overnight stay in Ella.

Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya is one of the major tea producing areas in the world. It is city of light is famous for tea plantation. Sri Lanka is produces a significant share of the world best tea and in the meantime is also one of the world’s largest exporters of tea. Nuwara Eliya has a many activities they are Take a boat ride on Gregory Lake. Nuwara Eliya is also home to some beautiful waterfalls such as Ramboda Falls, Devon Falls, and Laksapana Falls.

Ella
Ella rock is the most popular destination in hiking activity in Sri Lanka. Ella is this moderately challenging half-day hike with exceptionally rewarding views. Every day many people visit the place Climb the Ella Rock. The view from the top of the Ella Rock is difficult to put in such simple words. The most well-known being the hikes to Little Adam’s Peak and to Ella Rock.

Yala National Park

Yala National Park is the most popular destination for Wild Life safari.  It is most popular for Leopard and bears. It is covered 98,000 hectares.  Yala National Park is also home to Sri Lankan of 32 species of mammals have been recorded. The threatened species include sloth bear (Melursus ursinus), Leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya), elephant (Elephas maximus), water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis), Wild boar (Sus scrofa), spotted deer (Axis axis ceylonessis), sambar (Cervus unicolor) and golden jackal (Canis aureus).

Day 06-Ella to Tissamaharama

- Visit Buduruwagala Temple.

- Overnight stay in Tissamaharama.

Buduruwagala

Buduruwagala is a prominent Buddhist heritage site, located few km away from Wellawaya town in Monaragala district. The name Buduruwagala means “the rock with the statue of Buddha” And this is exactly what it is. Seven figured are carved in this rock with a massive 51 foot Buddha statue in the Abhaya Mudra gesture at the centre.

Tissamaharama

Tissamaharama is one of the most pleasant towns in the southern coast. The beautiful man-made tank (reservoir) in Tissa, Tissa Wewa with its remarkable bird life provides the scenic backdrop to the town.

Day 07-Tissamaharama to Mirissa

- Whales watching.

- Leisure on the beach Mirissa.

- Overnight stay in Mirissa.

Mirissa

Mirissa is the largest fishing port on the south coast and is known for its tuna, mullet, snapper and butterfish. othervise Mirissa is the most popular for the Whale Watching. Whale Watching is  very rare experience and sri Lanka is becoming a major spot for whales and dolphins watching. Dondra Point of down south in Sri Lanka is the main port of Whale Watching in Sri Lanka during December to April.

 

Day 08-Drop to Negambo or Airport

- Drop to Airport.

Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch and British. That heritage is reflected in its its architecture.

End of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel or Colombo International Airport for departure.
